This past Saturday we had a great time today capturing behind the scenes images for Behind The Veil Academy It was an amazingly awesome day! Meeting a beautiful bunch of event planners and designers! One of my favorite things to capture is special events! I have a love of detail and decor! There is so much work and planning that goes into events at the end of it all it’s the awesome images you have to display all your effort and creativity!!! So today was nothing short of amazing! Thank you Atosha K. Barboza Bennett for inviting us out to capture the beautiful work I’m honored!

40th Birthday Celebration in the Garden !

You've heard of a vegatable garden, a flower garden and even a secret garden. So with all that in mind earlier this year we were contacted by Ronda, she was putting together her birthday celebration and she decided to have an intimate dinner with friends in her private home. The theme of the dinner party was Garden.

Friends How many of us have them? Well for Ronda, she has quite a few that joined her for a private chef table experience. It was a milestone birthday and she decided to celebrate with her closest friends over some delicious dinner paired up with the best-tasting wine for the entree. We were so happy to be apart of the beautiful celebration and we totally appreciate being able to take a delicious plate home. 
 

A very welcoming table scape with customize menus fresh flowers and paired dinner wines for the meal. 

Appetizers and drinks were served as the guest awaited the time to be seated for dinner.

Remembering Yesterday- Life is a Gift Baby Shower

The year was 2011 and we were on fire... creating and designing custom party collections!

When we were contacting by Andineka and her God mother with the idea to create party decoration for a "Life is a Gift" baby shower using the soft baby colors green and yellow. 

We jumped at the chance of creating these supplies and also assisting with the setup of the celebration. 

We began with custom invitations (a invitation always sets the tone for an event) 

Guest were welcomed as they walked through the door with a custom Life is a Gift Banner

Welcome table was right inside to sign guest book and pick up a game sheet. 

Classic baby shower games were played including unscramble the words, word find and ice ice baby! 

Aj's Catering set up a beautiful food displayed in which guest enjoyed the delicious delights followed by your choice of vanilla or chocolate cupcakes for desserts.

Remembering Yesterday-Nasim's 12th Birthday Celebration All Day Party!

It's seems like yesterday.. that we were gearing up for my son's 12th birthday celebration. This celebration was what we called an All day celebration with a friend and cousin

Here is the celebration line up:

• 1st Stop Lenox Mall (which is my son favorite mall here in Atlanta)
• Zaxby's
• Stars and Strikes Bowling

Simple Budget Friendly using basic ideas to create Big Fun for the attendees

activities include a mall scavenger hunt. Each person was given 50 cent per item found. Encouraging guest to think outside the box to complete there list.

Remembering Yesterday-Everybody's Birthday Party

The year was 2010

It is always thrilling to see a smile on a child's face. 

At my son's daycare.. (the one he has attended since he was 12 weeks old) We hosted a special celebration for all the children entitled Everybody's Birthday! 

Once we were given the go from daycare owner Kim Foster- she allowed us to come in for a day of fun and games with the children. 

  We had a colorful setup, special treats and best of all we had a visit from Sprinkles the Clown. 

She dropped in and played games, did magic trick painted faces and even created fun shaped balloons. 

We customized the party  with colorful Everybody's Birthday theme decorations & brightly colored balloons. 

Sprinkles entertained the children with a few magic tricks and some other delightful fun! 

Who doesn't love a fun shaped balloon... 

Cool painted Faces! 

Delicious treats were enjoyed by all the children! Cupcakes Yum Yum!!! 

After all the fun and games the children posed for pictures with Sprinkles! 

This day was a special one and the children talked about it for weeks long after!

What a thrill it was to provide such a fun day on just a regular day to celebrate Everybody!!!

How our Friendship Started -The Accidental Reunion

About this past weekend!

Four of the six of our self proclaimed Real planners of Atlanta (we are a group of friends brought together for our love and passion for events.)  We are 5 alumni of Correllations LLC. event training.

On this past Sunday we were coming together to celebrate RPOA Shelia's birthday and the restaurant she had initially chosen we found out once we arrived opened at 4 our luncheon was scheduled at 2:00p.m. so we made a quick decision to change spots and go to another restaurant  in the area. After driving down the road and making a left turn we wound up at Brio and just like that we realized that is the place we made each other's acquaintance. Flash back story 4 years ago we all took part in a baby shower celebrating RPOA Lawanna welcoming baby Victoria.  Helena and Rhonda (not pictured) hosted a beautiful Munchkin theme shower and Kustom Kreation Photography (us) were hired as the photographer. Krista and Shelia were assisting in helping the planners of the event. 

So on Sunday by accident we wound up of the same place we begin what we didn't know then but haves learned now a friendship sisterhood that we can smile upon and look at where it all begin. It's amazing how things like that happen.

Remembering Yesterday-Nasim's 10th WWE Smackdown Pool Party

The year was 2010 and my oldest son was one of the biggest WWE Fans!

John Cena * The Undertaker * Chris Jericho * John Morrison

He was a total Fan! So it was only benefiting that for his 10th birthday celebration we would theme it his favorite thing! WWE! Summer time and Access to the Pool makes for a WWE Smackdown Pool Party! In true mom DYI fashion we planned design created this custom party!

We started off with a Kustom Invitations using the X (roman numeral 10) with a collage of pictures.

We then created custom paper supplies including water bottle wraps, paper banner, cupcake toppers and party circles. We used the party circles to add customization to plain black cups. 

Our custom cupcake toppers went on to become a Kustom Shop favorite! We had a steady stream of orders for the personalized WWE toppers!!! 

We loved the creativity of this WWE ring cake... and did we mention how delicious it was! 

Balloon Centerpieces were set on the designated tables  and Signage was placed around the lounge area 

Our party favors were these t-shirts we created! This was a fun partying gifts for the guests! 

My son was very pleased with his party and had a great time with friends and family

We were  so happy to make his 10th birthday a special one for him!

What fun it is to turn one with a colorful fit for a little girl party! For my great niece Khali's 1st birthday we decide to just use a girlie color palette with a few customize decorations as well as a fun photo booth to celebrate her 1st birthday! This party awesome including entertainment from Sprinkles the Clown who provides fun games for the kids that include music, face painting balloons and to celebrate the birthday child she gets to walk the red carpet for a crowning ceremony  with everyone singing happy birthday! Oh what fun to turn one!

Thousand and one thoughts on a Wedding Day...

It's Wedding Wednesday and we thought we share of few of our thoughts on a wedding day!

Wedding Day Chaos and More

When I first arrive for a wedding day session. I'm a bit nervous I just want to make sure I'm getting all the images I feel is necessary for the day. However my mind is in total overdrive I'm sweating nervous and working to figuire out what do I do first. You have expectaction from the event planner and you have expectation from the bride and then of course you have expectation for yourself. Your on the verge of mental overdrive.. You working to shoot the images of details scattered with the people and then Oh those beautiful magazine images Oh yeah I have to make sure we get some editorial worthy shots with all that in mind Its just a constant think over load. Weddings being so precise with different things happening at different times. The main build up is preparing for the ceremony and the preparation until then. So you come in at the schedule time. You advise the event staff your here and then I look around grab some details and then I'm off to meet the bride. 

Preferable she is still getting her makeup done or something of that nature so that I can capture the dress the shoes , jewelry and more. So I'm looking for the most detailed unique editorial way to capture these images. Details and Decor that is what I like.. Until I'm pressed for time.

Then as the bride begins to dress and making sure your not capturing the wrong thing while dressing but some of the most endearing shots that will be treasured for years to come. While your making everyone feel comfortable and your around getting the shots you feel like you need and then its time for you to go and see what are the guys doing.

Let me go capture a few of them. Shoes, lapels cuff links socks and grooms in action. The guys are quick and to the point while in your head your crossing off the shot list that exist there saying to yourself I think I got all the shots I need.

Now is it almost ceremony times... Whew let me check... Oh yes it is.. Guest are filling up the sanctuary and I'm running around trying to get some crowd shots along with details up close and personal and running to make sure I get the wedding party lined up and ready to go.

Remembering Yesterday- E40 Birthday Celebration

This past week.was the anniversary of my birthday… since it’s Throwback Thursday I’ve decided to reminisce about my birthday past… Entering into a new decade and reflecting on the lessons learn from the past.. Embracing all that is to come… This party was entitled E-40 taken directly from my 1st initial and the 40 came from you guest it… My new age!

With some creativity and the assistance of my dear friend we were able to pull off a wonderful celebration with dancing great food photo booth desserts.
