Happy Birthday to my son!

So today was a special day in our family! We celebrated my oldest son’s 22nd birthday.

This wasn’t the celebration like we’ve had in the past. As my son’s got older they no longer required all the bells and whistles that we would add in during the younger days. Today we decided that we would go have dinner at the restaurant of his choice. He choose the local Outback. They were kind enough to serve and ice cream sundae and sing happy birthday to him! Thankful for another birthday in the books!

Family Day Friday!!!

Today I had a chance to spend some time with my family! My two sons and my sister.

We were getting together to celebrate her going back to Ohio where we are from. We decided to grab dinner at the local Outback. So here we are smiling it up in the parking lot!

Being a Social Event Photographer, I believe a DJ can make or break your event. Here’s the thing music creates a vibe for your event, so if you have some good music playing you notice how guests might go from tapping their feet to singing along to ultimately making their way to the dance floor. The good Dj will keep this kinda vibe going for the entire duration of the event.

Now in my experience of being present to capture many events there have been times when the music playing was so great and the DJ was going in on the mix, I didn’t want to leave the event. There also have been other times when you have a so-called DJ that was just playing random songs that had no rhyme or reason on why it’s being played. I’ve also witness the deaden of the crowd because the music played was just not right for this party. So if you are planning an event and you are hiring a DJ make sure you get one that will make your guest remember they had a great time. Great Blends, Knows their eras of music , over all just a great entertainer for the night!

For fun we also watch live DJ’s on twitch tv app mixing and blending music online!

Social Events we all love to attend Birthday Parties, Graduations, Baby Showers and Weddings! It’s fun preparing and getting ready to attend the event. Besides meeting and greeting an arrange of people and enjoying good foods and drinks, Allot of us all enjoy some form of entertainment.

I will admit I love live entertainment and a live band… Whew… That just brings a smile over my face. As a social event photographer during any given year we are always on location at someone’s special occasion! We have such a happy job!!! Always at a Party!!! Well we came across this gem from a college graduation we had the opportunity to capture. This dynamic duo really wild the crowd with their classic tunes! Very talented couple! 40th Birthday Celebration in the Garden !

You've heard of a vegatable garden, a flower garden and even a secret garden. So with all that in mind earlier this year we were contacted by Ronda, she was putting together her birthday celebration and she decided to have an intimate dinner with friends in her private home. The theme of the dinner party was Garden.

Friends How many of us have them? Well for Ronda, she has quite a few that joined her for a private chef table experience. It was a milestone birthday and she decided to celebrate with her closest friends over some delicious dinner paired up with the best-tasting wine for the entree. We were so happy to be apart of the beautiful celebration and we totally appreciate being able to take a delicious plate home.

The year was 2009 and we had just began our journey of creating custom party supplies. Blue and brown was the baby shower trend and we were super happy to create custom party supplies for our good buddy and friend Octavia! 

We were so excited to create these custom details for the party! Including the game sheets and our homemade maternity dress form!

Remembering Yesterday- Wii Dance Party for the Kid in You!

They Year was 2011 and Wii was the hot video game system making way with all of the fun dance games to get you grooving. So this year for my birthday I had decided to invite friends over for some food fun & games. WII... 

This was our Snack Food Bar... we had a variety of little snacks... pretzels, chips, cheese puffs, cookies and more... 

Beverage Bar... and the children were trying to pour their own drink from the beverage dispenser

We have multiple TV's and game consoles set up to provide areas for everyone to get their dancing in. 

We were jamming trying to keep up....

Remembering Yesterday- Hello Khalilah Baby Shower

The year was 2013 and we were over the moon excited that my niece was pregnant with her 1st child. Our whole family celebrated  the news. As time went on  we knew that we wanted to throw her a nice shower.

Once my niece found out she was having a girl and she began to love Hello Kitty… and since she had already picked out her daughters name (Khaliah) we decided to play on the name… Hello Khali ( that was the name she was planning to call her for short.

Well as life would have it .. we planned the shower and Khali couldn’t wait to make her entrance in the world… so we still move forward with the shower the baby would just be in attendance.

We had a wonderful intimate celebration of baby with very close family friends and small group of family members which included grandma and grandpa who were over the top excited.

Since that time Khali has continued to bring lots of smiles and joy to our family!!!

You are an official teenager you've turned 13 and your favorite celebrity is Chris Brown.

This was a no brainier to create this custom party collection for my niece's best friend Taylor.

We created what we called our standard party collection which included table signage water labels cupcake toppers. We set up a photo backdrop and took fun photo of Taylor with friends and family. friends. This celebration was a Big Hit and a Big Surprise to Taylor!

Jam on It- An 80’s Style Birthday Party

Jam on it… When we received a call from Aj’s catering asking for some custom signs for an up and coming 80’s party… We were all in…. We just needed a few particulars and then we were ready to assist where ever we could. After getting the information of layout and ideas  from client(who is out of the box creative)  we awaited the menu and instructions and went to work on the creative ideas that Aj of Aj’s catering had in mind.

The client theme for her son’s 9th Birthday party was a retro 80’s theme as well as introducing her son who has been taking professional dj classes. Once menu was set we went to work on the custom signs that would add theme details to the already grand ideas! Our area was entitled Hamilton Records (like Tower Records) A popcorn station was a client must , so Aj’s catering theme the popcorn bar The King of Pop – Popcorn station which this area had a variety of flavored popcorn then a few other classic/ and kiddie foods were Sloppy Joes, Nachos with all the fixings veggie platter complete with a cabbage patch kid fruit kebabs, chicken tenders and fries. We created T-shirts with a Hamilton Records Logo so that we all could be in tune with the theme of the party.

This was the ultimate 80’s party that included so many things that took you back to the decade.

It's My Birthday....

This past weekend  I experienced what I hope that my clients experience when they received their link of images. I was all smiles to open up my images captured by Jayce the photographer! I’ve been a fan of her work as I watch how the art unveils itself in the images that she post on her social media platforms! She captured me in the way that I pray comes off to those who I've encounter beautiful colorful artsy and fun! Thank you Jayce for the opportunity to capture the true essence of who I am in the form of your art and images! I’m beyond excited!!! What a great way to start of my anniversary of my birth!!!
