Being a Social Event Photographer, I believe a DJ can make or break your event. Here’s the thing music creates a vibe for your event, so if you have some good music playing you notice how guests might go from tapping their feet to singing along to ultimately making their way to the dance floor. The good Dj will keep this kinda vibe going for the entire duration of the event.
Now in my experience of being present to capture many events there have been times when the music playing was so great and the DJ was going in on the mix, I didn’t want to leave the event. There also have been other times when you have a so-called DJ that was just playing random songs that had no rhyme or reason on why it’s being played. I’ve also witness the deaden of the crowd because the music played was just not right for this party. So if you are planning an event and you are hiring a DJ make sure you get one that will make your guest remember they had a great time.
