Black Friday & Beyond!

At the last minute we decided to put together some beneficial services together to assist our clients!

This Black Friday in addition to offering a photo special we decided to add on our coaching /consulting services and offer our social media post management services! We also added finally our Social Media Toolkit Workbook and Resource Guide.

Now this effort didn’t come without its fair share of challenges. I mean besides waiting until the last minute to put something together, we ran into computer system problems resulting in a mobile computer repairman coming to the house.

So when we thought we were racing against time to hurry and get offers set up on the website, email blast and social media post.

We finally got things completed. Like they say delay is not denial and we were able to get our offers published.

Like I tell any of our clients that are starting the process of showing up for their business. It may not be perfect, but it’s published!

Change is inevitable

Sometimes you wake up and you go through the routine of your daily activity and it may lead to one thing that will change the whole trajectory of the day. Today for me was one of those days. After doing a 30 minute walk and meditation once I headed home to go to work in my office to work on a few unfinished projects I was meant with a dilemma that stop the progress of what I was working on. In that moment the routine of action was immediately changed and we had to pivot and do something different. The change in the situation took away time and money in order to get things back on track. So as I’m writing this blog tonight I’m reminded once again that change is inevitable.

Oh what a Night

Last Night we had the opportunity to attend The Pinky Cole Experience Book Tour!

My Friend Vanessa Parker owner (The Pink Boss, Divas in Defense) blessed me with a ticket to attend.

The day before I search for a local book store in the are to grab a book just in case I was able to get it signed.

When we arrived the vibe was great the people , the energy the set décor everything was amazing.

The Dj was spinning all the dirty south hits , so we were up on our feet dancing and having a great time.

Once the show started they played video of how Pink Cole (Slutty Vegan – owner, CEO ) Came to be.

In between interviewing and story telling we were entertained by some of Atlanta’s popular community.

Senator Raphael Warnock Stopped in

Saucy Santana graced the stage

A member of the group 112 performed Cupid

Jagged Edge performed both versions of Let’s get married.

We were introduced to others who graced the stage with a poet and chefs.

By the end of the show they allowed members of the audience to ask questions. A few people in the audience that ask questions were blessed with an opportunity to work with Pink Cole on a few projects in the future.

The whole book tour was exactly what the title expressed an Experience!

Back to the Basics

There are times when you start a great regimen and you decide that you are motivated to make changes in your life. You off to a great start you set up a daily routine and it seems like you are on task and everything is going great. Before you know it a few things interrupt your flow, whether it be a change in work schedule, taking on a major project or having some personal things that is happening in life take place. Once that happens the daily routine regimen that you off on a great start is now taking a back seat to other things causing you to look back at how you were once so on board organize and off to the races of the success in life just to see how far your off track from when you begin. It is at that time you want to reconize that you fell off track a bit and just remind yourself to get back on track. In our lives things are constantly happening, the world is spinning and what you plan to do daily routinely may just get off track. So for me I’m getting back to the basics! Let’s begin again!

It’s Middle of the Week and we are in the middle of the month. November I see that you are passing by so fast. My month goes by really fast when I have allot of plans on the calendar. Today was a great day. Ran a few errands and then prepared myself for an evening photo session. We had two separate clients at the same location. We had a good time capturing these photos.

Today was the great start to the work week! We were working to finished up images from a previous event and getting those images sent over to a client. We also had an afternoon portrait headshot appointment. Our client showed up and we were able to get the session completed in good time. Today was a very productive day. Dear October 2022!

The month of October. We had quite a bit on the schedule this month!

So let's break down!

When the 1st of October hit I went out on a beautiful day and plan to create image content and informational videos and reels that I could share during the month with my audience online.

Let's get this month started with planning out some good content.

Day 1 Content Creation

Day 2 My niece and her family scheduled family pictures. We decided on this date due to my travel schedule and she and her husband were celebrating their anniversary and she was soon to give birth to a new baby

Oct 6 We were on our way to Houston, Texas to attend The Pink Champagne Retreat

We came in earlier from the retreat so we can visit a few friends while we were there. An extended weekend and wonderful retreat with lots of connection made.

Oct 14 On our return from our trip to Texas, we were now geared up to capture the wedding ceremony of a beautiful couple! This Friday evening wedding was a great start to the weekend. From the behind the scenes details to the ceremony and reception what a great night of love and family fun.

October 15 We were on location for a Rodeo theme birthday party. We enjoyed capturing all the guest as they entered the theme party. It was such a fun great night!

As we were resting up and working to get a few preview images over to our client from the wedding, we had to prepare ourself once again for another ride in the sky. We traveled one way to Columbus, Ohio so that I could ride with my sister back to Georgia.

Oct 18 Flew out to Columbus, Ohio the temperature was 37 degrees. I was able to visit with my brothers and sister and mother. It was a great 24 hours and the next day we packed up her car and took off back to Georgia. The ride back down was a great one. The weather once we his i-75 south was fantastic all the way to Atlanta




October 21 we were on location with one of our clients who hosted a ladies only Halloween Photo Session

October 22 My son and I decided to go to a haunted house. We went out and enjoyed the night! All the Frills and Thrills!

October 29 Received a call from Georgia Stand -up Non Profit Organization to come capture images for early voting block parties that they were hosting for the early voters of Georgia.

October 30 We were out again for another Early voting block party with Georgia Stand- Up Non Profit Organization

Thankful for all the goodness that the month of October allow me! Thank you more please!

So as we have entered the month of November …. I look forward to all the goodness this month will bring!

Election Day 2022

We’ve had the pleasure to work with Georgia STAND-UP as they hired us to capture images of Early Voting Block Parties that have taken place all around the city of Atlanta! We’ve been going strong since the end of October! Today was the finale!!! It’s been fun and exhilarating!!! We ate good danced and had an overall good time supporting the voters at the polling locations!!

Very Thankful for the opportunity to capture memorable images in this historic period of time!

Left Behind

Some days I feel like I’m not doing enough and that if I don’t catch up with some of the many task that I have on my list that I’m actually getting left behind. I just than had a thought getting left behind by who and what? We have to run our lives at the pace that is comfortable for us and to allow ourselves grace. Do away with burden our self with unrealistic expectation. We have to forgive ourselves.

Today I’m not getting left behind I’m exactly where I need to be on this day!

I forgive myself for the unnecessary pressure!

November Kick- Off

Happy November 1!

We’ve already started off the month capturing images at a day time block party hosted by Georgia Stand-up as they set up celebration pop up parties to encourage people to get out and vote. Early voting has begun in the state of Georgia and official election day is November 8. We are there capturing away! This has been a great way to start off the month!

So we’ve made it to the last day of October. It’s been such a busy month for us. Allot of unexpected twist and turns this month. I’m grateful to have made it through. It’s Halloween night and this day is different from ones in the past. It use to be a day I was preparing to take my youngest son out trick or treating, but this year is different, he’s older now although he would like the candy and the spirit of the holiday fun, we have to plan to do other things. Memories from past years have come up in our Facebook memories and all I could do is smile and be thankful for all the memories created.

Thank you October for a wonderful month. We look forward to all that November will bring!
