Georgia Early Voting Block Party

Today we had the opportunity to capture images for the organization Georgia- Standup as they hosted an Early Voting Block Party! This event was thrown to encourage Georgia registered voters to take advantage of the early voting options. Interested voters enjoyed catered food, great music and information about Georgia Stand-up! The weather was terrific the spirits were high and positive and a great time was had by those in attendance. We were happy to be apart of such a wonderful event.

So if you live in the state of Georgia this is a reminder that early voting has begun! Official Voting Day is November 8, 2022

Planning a party is a lot of fun from the start. It allows you to be creative and its always fun when you can create an event to bring people together. We've combined of list of things to consider when planning your next party. This is in no particular order

  8. Entertainment (Besides Food and Drink what you want your people to do)

  10. Memories (What special memories, traditions are you looking to create)

Depending on the type of event and the reason for putting it together will determine what type of things to consider. For most events it may be just a couple of things from the list (people , food & drinks at home) For other types you may need allot more from the list.

When we first started in photography we had made our apartment in our living room our pop up studio space. Quickly as word spread that we were doing photography we begin to get booked for many special events. Over the years we've had experience capturing a wide variety of events. Nothing thrills me more then giving to to an event and meeting some of your social media inspiring persons in person. So here's the scoop. I  discovered  the being Boss Podcast in 2015 and have been following the along since. So early in April these boss ladies released their first book based on teheir podcast and so when they were scheduled to come to Atlanta I immediately signed up to be there . It was like a live podcast! Special guest Emily Thompson (1 of the authors of the book takked about their beginnings how things came along and she then took questions from the audience. I was excited to get my book signed as well as grab a photo.

Labor Day True Confessions: "It's All Good until It's time to do the Work" - I love planning thinking & creating and so much more... I have notebooks filled with ideas on top of ideas!!! It's so much fun to even plan every detail in my imagination... and then it's time to put your thoughts in motion and that's when the real work begins... and those ideas stay tucked away in the beautiful inspiring notebook that I have so many of.... Then there are days that I'm reminded.. you then have a choice is this going to be a figment of my imagination or we going to make this real by putting in the work...
