This is a behind the scenes look at capturing a 1st birthday session! The beautiful girl was dressed super cute for her milestone photo session! We captured beautiful images of the family at Old Forth Ward Park located in Atlanta!

On this date I took my friend along with me to capturing images of me in action capturing the family. This is one of my favorites from all of the ones she took.

This images also encourage me to begin to exercise more and drink more water!

Happy Working Wednesday! Today is the 1st Wednesday of August 2022!

We’ve entered into a new month and we off to a great start. I’ve been pretty busy this week and today I wasn’t sure if today was Tuesday or Wednesday!!! Ha! Ha!

Funny how time flies when your having fun!

This week we are processing images that we had the pleasure of capturing last week and over the weekend . We have a large amount of images to go through so we are working diligently to get those processed and sent over to our clients that anxiously awaits their arrival! How’s your week going so far?? Ultimate TO-DO List

So now we have entered in the 8th month of the year 2022! I feel like the saying funny how time flies when your having fun. It’s seems as though things have been pretty eventful and I’ve had a calendar full of activities and appointments which tend to make the year go by pretty swiftly. At times I’m planning to get so many things off of the ultimate “TO-DO” List and then I have the daily weekly monthly task that I work to stay consistent with and before I know it items on the ULTIMATE “TO-DO” List are still there and I’m trying to figure when am I going to get to these things??!!!!

Now that we are into August I have a few things that I must get ready to do.

We have a few product ideas that are still in the development stages and I have some additional items within are photography business that we are wanting to offer. Our goal will be to at least have those things completed by the end of the month.

Now that I’ve officially put it out here, I’ve got to do it! So now you will hold me accountable for my actions or lack there of!

This week has been a pretty busy one for us! We’ve had many appointments on our calendar this week and it feels like we have been running from pillar to post! So today after finishing up some of our contract work we did a big exhale and had some quiet time just to take in the moments of peace!

#TBT Card Party- Birthday Style

Throwback Thursday!

The year was 2007 and I was celebrating my birthday with having a get together at my apartment. During that time myself and some of my close friends we regularly hosted card parties ever so often. This was a time when we would invite a mix of people over play card share in spirits eat some good food and talk allot of trash when playing the game. In our network card parties were the place to be! Aww that just seems like a lifetime ago. Well for my birthday that particular year we just decided to do the same thing except it’s my birthday so we were added birthday decorations and a cake! So as we gathered everyone together to play cards enjoy some great music eat good food and fellowship! We made allot of great memories with our gatherings. There is nothing like a great night of friends and fellowship and talking trash while playing a good game of spade!

#TBT 2011 Photo Session

Throwback Thursday Photo Session: The Year was 2011 and I had decided to go out and take some photos with my camera! This session was sure to a hit seeing that I was using my camera as a prop!

Also I brought along my zebra print stool that I thought would be fancy in capturing a few photos!

I tagged my older sister along and handed off the camera to her so that she can take my pictures.

FYI: My sister doesn’t have a steady hand and she does the best she can when you hand her the camera!

It’s that mid-week check in. Somedays my head is so down in and buried in my work when I look up from the computer screen, I’m trying to figure out what day is it. Ha! It’s Working Wednesday! One of the great things about being a special event photographer for social events is the emotions that are captured of a moment. The process we have of captured event we move around and we look for and anticipate moments. Their are some moments that are just lucky ones for us, those ones we lived to get!

One thing for sure when looking back at that particular moment in time you can see the tenderness of that moment. So to say one of the great things about being a special event photographer is the connection between the people the event and that special moment in time.

Make Moves Monday!

It’s Make Moves Monday and today we had plenty of moves we were making.

Can you believe we’ve passed the middle part of July and in a few short weeks we are heading into August. I’m not sure about you but time keeps on slipping by. Today we had a pretty great and productive day. We were able to complete some of our photo edits that have been pending and we also had a headshot session with the our clients at Georgia- STAND-UP.

Friday the gateway to the weekend !

This week has been a very busy one and it went by pretty fast. At the begging of the week Monday we were traveling back from our hometown of Springfield, Ohio. It was a beautiful ride back to Georgia.

Beautiful blue skies green trees and sunshine. We arrived that evening giving enough time to shower and prepare for bed. Next day we began our normal daily routine exercise , work and catching up with all the things that we need to do within our photography business. Before you know it this week has been a pretty busy and productive and Friday comes fast! So as we are winding down and preparing for the weekend. We are thankful for the productive week we have experienced. What about you. How did your week go ?

Over the weekend we received a call from Georgia STAND-UP organization asking us if we could schedule an appointment for headshots for all the summer interns. National French Fry Day!

It’s National French Fry Day and my son convenience me to take him to the local McDonald’s because he was able to get a free large fry. So after we tied up a few things at the house we headed on out so that he can get his Free large fries! I ask him, how were you able to get free fries? He let me know if you have the McDonald’s App you were able to get a free large fry! Needless to say… my son was pretty happy!
