Every once in a while I’m able to get these guys to pose in a picture with me! My two sons!
Since the earlier days they have been my subject for taking pictures. As they have matured into young men they hardly like to allow me to capture a moment with them (awww boo!) On this rare occasion they allowed me to do so. It’s always a great day when we three come together! Much love to these guys!

Happy Working Wednesday! Can you believe we have officially made it to the middle of August! It’s like Wow where does the time go. One minute we are welcoming the new month in and you blink your eyes and we are in the middle of the month. Students are making their way back to school and summer is winding down. So we are gearing up for the fall. We are settling back into our daily routine after coming back from a weekend getaway. How’s your week going so far?? Comment Below!

I’m excited once again to announce that I am 50 days in on the #100daydreamchallenge second time around. I’m so happy to work on developing the habit of writing everyday. I was inspired many years ago by marketing guru Seth Godin as he writes a blog post everyday. That was a goal of mine and it wasn’t until earlier this year when Social Media Influencer Brother Ben X proposed a challenge to his followers to do something for 100 days in a row. For me that something was to write a blog post everyday! I successfully completed the #100daydreamchallenge in June and decided to start again. So here we are 50 days in second time around and I’m excited to keep this going! So I encourage you to challenge yourself to doing something (anything) for the next 100 days. See how committed you will be to the process.
Today I celebrate the halfway point of the challenge and look forward to keep going!

This past weekend I met up with my brother his wife and my cousin and his lady and we spent the weekend in Orlando, Florida. We ate fellowship, sat poolside ran the streets of Orlando enjoying the little getaway that we had and before you know it we were packing our bags back up and headed back home!
Totally enjoyed my time away and it was great seeing my cousin who I hadn't seen in a good amount of years.
Full of Gratitude for a terrific weekend! Thank you more please!

Today we were able to made a short trip down to Daytona beach to stick our feet in the water.
It was a beautiful day to visit the beach!
We currently are on a weekend trip to Orlando, Florida and we drove over to the beach to enjoy time by the water

The Month of July was a pretty eventful one for us. A Great month. We were busy and lots of twist and turns. We were able to celebrate capture events and travel! July thank you! More Please!
We started the month off with an invitation to a BBQ at our Friends Tonyia and Patrick Lowe home.
This was a great way to start the month off with a long Independence Day Holiday Weekend.

We were excited to learn that our business mentor Helena Paschal was coming to town. We made time to meet up for some pizza at her favorite spot Fellini’s so we ate, laughed and have some girl talk!
On July 6 we celebrated my sons 22nd birthday he and I had dinner at our favorite spot Outback where we enjoyed a nice dinner.
As the week progressed we prepared for a road trip to my hometown to attend our 30th Anniversary High School Class Reunion 1992!

We traveled to Springfield Ohio and had a great time meeting up with our classmates!
We had a great night of connection fellowship and fun!
The next day while still visiting my hometown of Springfield, Ohio we attended a community come together event. My sister and I were vendors she sold pies and I sold novelties & gifts
While we were visiting our hometown we had the opportunity to do a family photo session with all my siblings that were present and any of the grandchildren and great grandchildren that were present on this date for the session.

Today is a special day! It’s the Anniversary of birth of my dear ole mother!
August 6 a great day in history for our family. My mother was born in Sparta, Georgia she was one of five children of her parents. Her father died when she was five years old leaving my grandmother a widow and left to raise her 5 children on her own. At the age of 11, my mother and family moved to our home town of Springfield, Ohio. During those days many black folks were looking for better conditions for their lives and the lives of their families. They found better life for themselves and settled in Springfield, Ohio!
Down the line… She married my father.. and she had a seven children of her own with 3 bonus children.
Happy Happy Birthday Mother!!!! Wish you many many more!

Feel Good Friday is such a real thing. When you had a pretty busy week, a variety of appointments and you running from pillar to post it feels good to come to a Friday evening where everything slows down and you can finally exhale and take it all end. On this date I took my friend along with me to capturing images of me in action capturing the family. This is one of my favorites from all of the ones she took.

We’ve entered into a new month and we off to a great start. I’ve been pretty busy this week and today I wasn’t sure if today was Tuesday or Wednesday!!! Ha! Ha!

So now we have entered in the 8th month of the year 2022! I feel like the saying funny how time flies when your having fun. It’s seems as though things have been pretty eventful and I’ve had a calendar full of activities and appointments which tend to make the year go by pretty swiftly. At times I’m planning to get so many things off of the ultimate “TO-DO” List and then I have the daily weekly monthly task that I work to stay consistent with and before I know it items on the ULTIMATE “TO-DO” List are still there and I’m trying to figure when am I going to get to these things??!!!!
Now that we are into August I have a few things that I must get ready to do.
We have a few product ideas that are still in the development stages and I have some additional items within are photography business that we are wanting to offer. Our goal will be to at least have those things completed by the end of the month.
Now that I’ve officially put it out here, I’ve got to do it! So now you will hold me accountable for my actions or lack there of!

Throwback Thursday!
The year was 2007 and I was celebrating my birthday with having a get together at my apartment. During that time myself and some of my close friends we regularly hosted card parties ever so often. This was a time when we would invite a mix of people over play card share in spirits eat some good food and talk allot of trash when playing the game. In our network card parties were the place to be! Aww that just seems like a lifetime ago. Well for my birthday that particular year we just decided to do the same thing except it’s my birthday so we were added birthday decorations and a cake! So as we gathered everyone together to play cards enjoy some great music eat good food and fellowship! We made allot of great memories with our gatherings. There is nothing like a great night of friends and fellowship and talking trash while playing a good game of spade!
