It’s Make Moves Monday and we’ve have been busy moving around today. From an early morning appointment to a productive visit with a friend we have been on the move this Monday. As we’ve spent the last few days out of town. We are packing up our suitcase to head back home.

I discovered my happy place is being in the right environment. One that creative productive and I'm in a process of learning and able to take away something to make me feel a certain way.

#tbt 2006 this is a photo of my 1st son. When I first started in photography he was my first subject to capture and well as my text subject. Oh boy what a job he had to do for me as I work to get my composition right and lighting. Those were the earlier days. As time went on he no longer wanted to pose for the camera for me. So today when I can get both of my sons to grab a photo with me I’ll take what I can get.

We recently was invited to a friend’s birthday who decided at the last minute to put together a gathering of friends and family to celebrate her special day. We had such a great night of positive energy good vibes and so much fun!
My friend Vanessa celebrated her 42nd birthday! The crowd danced the DJ and his assistance instructed how to do some line dances they were so engaging with everyone.
Vanessa’s husband even surprised her with a special guest R& B singer Case singing happy birthday to the honoree!
It was such a great night of fun! Definitely was a way to start off the weekend… Friday 13th style!

Once again we are happy to announced that are 100 day dream challenge is complete.
For the 3rd time we have completed this challenge. So if this is your 1st time visited our page this challenge was presented to us late last year by one of our social media influencers that we follow. The challenge was to commit to yourself to do something everyday for the next 100 days straight. For me, I chose to make a blog post everyday. I mean really how hard can that be seeing that I’m pretty consistent on social media. Well it’s quite a personal accomplishment, but there are times that life is lifing and the day gets away from you and just when you think you are free in clear to go to bed and relax you are reminded about your commitment to blog something everyday!
Well I’m thankful to the challenge and I want to keep going. So what’s a girl to do , but start this thing all over for 2023.

It’s Make Moves Monday and I see that 2023 is in full swing! This is the 2nd Monday in the new year. For us everything is going pretty smoothly. We are still working on organization in our daily activities. We are working to maximize our time that way at the end of the day we can feel productive as though we have accomplish somethings.
I don’t know about you , but I have a running to do list in my head that I fail to write down. I know I need to do it, but I just simple refuse to jot it down so that I can get it crossed off the list.
Today was a battle, I made myself write down those little task that need to be brought to completion. It is imperative to cross them off the list and write done by them. I’m always trying to rush on to what’s next with out fully completed the previous project. I’ll get all the way down to the finish line and than go real slow….
Well today we wrote it down and was making it happen.
I will give a little grace. Prior to sitting down and getting stuff done in office, we were outta office earlier this morning to drop my son off at school and than off to run errands. The main errand was to get a new sticker for my car. My birthday is coming up and I almost forgot that its that time of year to renew your tags…

It’s already been 7 days in the new year. Flashback to last Saturday as I was preparing to meet members of my family on Zoom so that we could bring in the New Year together. The funny part is… As I dressed up from the top half I had big plans to have such a great online party and things went all the way south.
#1 Folks were having a hard time jumping on to connect on the Zoom Call calling me on the phone to get a password based on the link that I provided their was no need for the link. The process did not start smooth than after I decided to go into our family room on Facebook and create a room, here lies the problem I had people able to get in on Zoom and a few others were in the room on Facebook and everybody was talking to me while I was trying to figure it all out in which it was not coming together at all for me.
#2 You got 1 minute left that was message I was receiving from Zoom, I had decided (not before hand) to order premium during the call with the family, well that didn’t work out at all I was having a hard time trying to login to get to a place where I can upgrade from the 40 minutes free and because of ALL the technical difficulties I burned up the free time and wasn’t able to upgrade so it cut off the few people that logged on off.
#3 Back to Facebook I started another live room and was trying desperately to reach out to members to have them just click the link in our private room and log on…. geez it took a minute but those members who could figure it out did so.
We finally were able to get online and start chatting it up. I was so embarrassed and exhausted from all the technical hassle.
One things for sure we were able to be together and bring the new year in despite all the technical challenges!!!
Cheers once again to a productive year ahead!

We are throwing it back to this past weekend. We hung out with some of our good friends and attended a couple of Christmas parties. It was a weekend of food fellowship and fun! So much laughter which is so good for the soul! It’s hard to believe that Christmas Season has came and went. So much so that this post is a throwback to the holiday weekend!

We are here once again! The last midweek update of 2022! The year has flown by and we are almost at the close of it.
Once again I’m feeling like time is steady slipping away. One moment I was getting ready to go out with some friend for a holiday party. Followed up by a annual Christmas party and like the snap of a finger we are writing a blog post for our working Wednesday check in.
Monday we were resting up from the busy weekend.
Tuesday we celebrated my youngest son’s 15th birthday
Today we worked on ideas and packages that we will be offering in our photography service.
We also put together plans for a family virtual NYE celebration for this weekend.

We are here! Already it is the middle to the week! Yes, we have made it to the end of December the middle of the week and closer and closer to a new calendar year. I don’t know about you , but I have to ask myself… My word where in the heck did 2022 go???
Ha! I always seem to feel that way, but I know where it went, I’m thankful I’ve be consistent on documenting my experiences this year. As I’m writing this I still have yet to do my November 2022 in review! Let me make sure I put that on top of my list so I can get that done. I tried to do a review each month so I can track things that are happening daily in life.
This week my son is on holiday break. We’ve had no big plans this year, we are just taking things day by day. I’ve been working on a few on going projects I have. Completing a headshot session we had last week and creating some signage for an up and coming Great Gatsby/Harlem Nights theme Christmas party. I enjoy when I’m able to use my creative juices and put some party decorations together.

It’s Middle of the Week and we are in the middle of the month. December I see that you are passing by so fast. Once again the month passes by very fast. Today was a great day. Ran a few errands and then prepared myself for some up and coming events we are planning to start next month! Stay tuned for our Content Creation with Ease Event!

Thankful for the wonderful weekend that I was blessed to experience. We were busy with photo appointments for our clients and in between time spending time with family that was visiting for the weekend. I say this all the time “Funny how time flies when your having fun” It was just Friday morning and I was headed out to the camera rental place to pick up equipment for wedding event we captured on Saturday. Now here we are late Sunday night about to head into the beginning of a new work week.
With allot of gratitude in our heart. We are thankful for all the goodness we experience this weekend. Mind Body & Soul!

Tonight we had a impromptu local family gathering. My great niece is visiting from Chicago with her daughter this weekend. So we all gathered together tonight to fellowship eat and enjoy each others company. Such a great night for family!

It’s Middle of the Week and we are in the beginning of the month.
December the last month of 2022~
Today was a great day and I was able to complete many task that I had on my to-do list. I finally crossed off a bit of them yay me!
I finished a custom decoration project for a client they have and upcoming Soul Train theme Holiday party and they ordered a custom party package from us. We were able to get that completed today.
We were excited to take an online virtual makeup class which was pretty awesome! Our instructor – Melanie Tillis was great at explaining each step in the process and patient enough to answer any questions.
