Make Moves Monday!

It’s Make Moves Monday and we’ve have been on the move. Today was a day when we had to put things back in place from the busy weekend that occurred. 1st things first we returned our camera equipment back to the rental company. We then went on to run a few personal errands to pick up some much needed items for the home. My sister and I enjoyed a great lunch at The Cheese Cake Factory and we finally traveled back home to the other side of town. We had an unexpected pleasant day. Sometimes when you say yes, the unexpected happens and in some cases it can turn a regular day in to an extraordinary day!

A moment of Gratitude

Thankful for the wonderful weekend that I was blessed to experience. We were busy with photo appointments for our clients and in between time spending time with family that was visiting for the weekend. I say this all the time “Funny how time flies when your having fun” It was just Friday morning and I was headed out to the camera rental place to pick up equipment for wedding event we captured on Saturday. Now here we are late Sunday night about to head into the beginning of a new work week.

With allot of gratitude in our heart. We are thankful for all the goodness we experience this weekend. Mind Body & Soul!

Working Wednesday Check-In

It’s Middle of the Week and we are in the beginning of the month.

December the last month of 2022~

Today was a great day and I was able to complete many task that I had on my to-do list. I finally crossed off a bit of them yay me!

I finished a custom decoration project for a client they have and upcoming Soul Train theme Holiday party and they ordered a custom party package from us. We were able to get that completed today.

We were excited to take an online virtual makeup class which was pretty awesome! Our instructor – Melanie Tillis was great at explaining each step in the process and patient enough to answer any questions.

Now that we have finished up the day… we are going to relax for the rest of the evening.

Early Creations

oday I came across an old flyer from some items that I use to create and sell.

It was sometime in the 90’s and at this time I was created heart shaped pillows.

I would take satin material and lace and sew the pillows put a valentine type decal on the pillow package it up with some candies and we had a valentine packages created and ready.

We also use to create t-shirts, night gowns, ladies undies and boxer shorts for men.

When people would have a baby, birth pillow & blanket announcements were created and gifted.

I love it when I come across items to make me remember the time. This was a good one!

Today was a good day

Today was a good day here in Georgia! The weather was perfect for being outdoors! It’s November and we are experiencing 60 degree weather. So what are you to do with such beautiful weather???!! Go outside and enjoy the beauty of the day.

I decided on getting together with my sister and my great nieces and going to enjoy a day at the park! We weren’t the only ones enjoying this beautiful blue sky day

"Anything is possible when you are committed"

This quote I came across this evening and found it befitting for me currently working to complete a few digital products that have been in the works. The moment I felt like throwing in the towel and working to completion at another time. It was at that moment I gave myself a little self talk and encouragement. I reiterated to myself that I can do it and I have to keep going. As a result it gave me a second wind! I not only was able to complete what I was working on it allow more information to flow through me providing more to project! I'm happy that I stayed committed and kept going~

Change is inevitable

Sometimes you wake up and you go through the routine of your daily activity and it may lead to one thing that will change the whole trajectory of the day. Today for me was one of those days. After doing a 30 minute walk and meditation once I headed home to go to work in my office to work on a few unfinished projects I was meant with a dilemma that stop the progress of what I was working on. In that moment the routine of action was immediately changed and we had to pivot and do something different. The change in the situation took away time and money in order to get things back on track. So as I’m writing this blog tonight I’m reminded once again that change is inevitable.

Dear October 2022!

The month of October. We had quite a bit on the schedule this month!

So let's break down!

When the 1st of October hit I went out on a beautiful day and plan to create image content and informational videos and reels that I could share during the month with my audience online.

Let's get this month started with planning out some good content.

Day 1 Content Creation

Day 2 My niece and her family scheduled family pictures. We decided on this date due to my travel schedule and she and her husband were celebrating their anniversary and she was soon to give birth to a new baby

Oct 6 We were on our way to Houston, Texas to attend The Pink Champagne Retreat

We came in earlier from the retreat so we can visit a few friends while we were there. An extended weekend and wonderful retreat with lots of connection made.

Oct 14 On our return from our trip to Texas, we were now geared up to capture the wedding ceremony of a beautiful couple! This Friday evening wedding was a great start to the weekend. From the behind the scenes details to the ceremony and reception what a great night of love and family fun.

October 15 We were on location for a Rodeo theme birthday party. We enjoyed capturing all the guest as they entered the theme party. It was such a fun great night!

As we were resting up and working to get a few preview images over to our client from the wedding, we had to prepare ourself once again for another ride in the sky. We traveled one way to Columbus, Ohio so that I could ride with my sister back to Georgia.

Oct 18 Flew out to Columbus, Ohio the temperature was 37 degrees. I was able to visit with my brothers and sister and mother. It was a great 24 hours and the next day we packed up her car and took off back to Georgia. The ride back down was a great one. The weather once we his i-75 south was fantastic all the way to Atlanta




October 21 we were on location with one of our clients who hosted a ladies only Halloween Photo Session

October 22 My son and I decided to go to a haunted house. We went out and enjoyed the night! All the Frills and Thrills!

October 29 Received a call from Georgia Stand -up Non Profit Organization to come capture images for early voting block parties that they were hosting for the early voters of Georgia.

October 30 We were out again for another Early voting block party with Georgia Stand- Up Non Profit Organization

Thankful for all the goodness that the month of October allow me! Thank you more please!

So as we have entered the month of November …. I look forward to all the goodness this month will bring!

Left Behind

Some days I feel like I’m not doing enough and that if I don’t catch up with some of the many task that I have on my list that I’m actually getting left behind. I just than had a thought getting left behind by who and what? We have to run our lives at the pace that is comfortable for us and to allow ourselves grace. Do away with burden our self with unrealistic expectation. We have to forgive ourselves.

Today I’m not getting left behind I’m exactly where I need to be on this day!

I forgive myself for the unnecessary pressure!

Welcome to the New Week!

Can you believe that we currently are in the half way point of the month of October.

So much movement in my life has taken place landed me right here in the middle. I still have a few busy days ahead. With Travel plans coming up soon and more special events on the calendar for this month.

Funny how time flies when your having fun and you have a busy calendar month.

I’m still have yet to post our September in review. Before I know it , October review will be up soon!

Just want to welcome the week ahead and we look forward to another great and productive week ahead.

The end of September 2022

Can you believe we are nearing the end of September 2022! I say this all the time where did time go!

As I begin to reflect on this past month it just becomes hard to believe that we not only are at the end of September we are coming close to the end of the year. October 1 official starts the 4th Quarter of 2022!

I’m thankful for this month! It’s a celebration of our photography anniversary and official end of summer and start of fall.

It’s Our Photography Anniversary!

As we celebrate our 16 years of picking up our camera and deciding to take photographs we are reminding of the beginning.

When I began to go through the history of how this all began it really amazes me on how we come to be. I remember being a little girl and always wanting to do business stuff. Whether I was playing on a cash register or had a notebook(receipt book) or a purse /briefcase full of miscellaneous papers. I always remember wanting to be in business and do business by servicing my customers. when begin to think of how all those childhood dreams came to life it really amazes me on what you think can really happen. I’m blessed to be able to do this photography and more thing for these last past years. It really has shown me what I was capable of .

Quick Guide for Mindset Shifts

I recently begin reading the book the Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod. This was recommended by one of my favorite Podcast. In reading this book it inspired me to really begin to do self reflection and to see what it is that I really want. As I was reading the book I realize that there are some habits that I do I just don’t organize my morning in the way he advises in the book. By reading this book it has really inspired me to begin to implement habits that will allow me to live my best life every. We have the power to do so in the palm of our hands. If we would only realize how powerful we are. So if you are looking for inspiration and a quick guide to assist in shifting your mindset I would definitely recommend reading the book The Morning Miracle!
