Client Review- Photography Service

Today we received a tag on a post of Facebook from one of our recent clients giving us a nice review of the photography service we recently had with them. Last weekend our clients hosted a headshot party to make sure all the members of her team had professional headshots to use on and offline.

So we were so surprised to get such a nice compliment for the service they had receive.

We are always so thankful for the opportunities that are presented to us.

We also received a call from our wedding client bride, who confirmed that she received the electronic transfer of images from her wedding and how she was so pleased with the work.

I was so very thankful for the feedback.

What a great way to end our anniversary month.

The end of September 2022

Can you believe we are nearing the end of September 2022! I say this all the time where did time go!

As I begin to reflect on this past month it just becomes hard to believe that we not only are at the end of September we are coming close to the end of the year. October 1 official starts the 4th Quarter of 2022!

I’m thankful for this month! It’s a celebration of our photography anniversary and official end of summer and start of fall.

A walk through Wynwood Walls

Earlier this year we traveled to Miami, Florida we had an opportunity to visit Wywood Walls. The art and exhibits were great, colorful and fun. Although it was blazing hot outside we enjoyed the walk and picture taking fun of such a colorful location.

Meanwhile earlier today we had a busy picture taking day! We started off with a high school senior photo session which took place at a nice location in downtown Atlanta. We finished up the session and headed to the next event. We captured images for a bridal shower. It was a beautiful day to capture beautiful memories and I was glad to be apart of it!

Branding Session Pose Gone Wrong

Throwback Thursday!

We got together with fellow photographer and friend Bryant Andrews (Sky Love Photography) to photography some brand images in studio. We had a list of ideas for the shoot and one in particular we decided to try it was a photo turned upside down on the coach. The photo idea looked super cool in on the inspiration board.

By the the time I decide to flip upside down for the photograph things went all the way wrong. I lost my balance, Bryant didn’t say much but he knew the idea was not that great.

Here’s to say you may have a great idea for an image but not all ideas are great ones. Still try the ideas somethings may work and some may not. You will never know until you try!

When I was growing up I was fascinated by my teachers and their books, agendas and one the the biggest things writing on the chalkboard. Ooh wee that my fantasy to write on the chalkboard. As a youngster I wanted to have students and give them lessons that I could teach them.



One day my parents finally bought me a chalkboard and I would try and gather my little brother to be a student , that didn't last long. It would be a long time later that I realize I have a passion for providing information to people. I'm just realizing that my dreams of being a teacher has always been there and that I'm not the lady in elementary classroom with twenty children. I'm the lady that is able to take information I've learned and teach my friends and fellow business associates things that I've learned that may benefit something that they are doing. My folks are pretty appreciative of my efforts :)

It’s Our Photography Anniversary!

As we celebrate our 16 years of picking up our camera and deciding to take photographs we are reminding of the beginning.

When I began to go through the history of how this all began it really amazes me on how we come to be. I remember being a little girl and always wanting to do business stuff. Whether I was playing on a cash register or had a notebook(receipt book) or a purse /briefcase full of miscellaneous papers. I always remember wanting to be in business and do business by servicing my customers. when begin to think of how all those childhood dreams came to life it really amazes me on what you think can really happen. I’m blessed to be able to do this photography and more thing for these last past years. It really has shown me what I was capable of .

The Month of August was a pretty eventful one for us. A Great month. We were busy here and there and a few twist and turns. We were able to celebrate capture events and travel! August thank you! More Please!

Thank you for all that we done and experienced during this month! 

We attended the Atlanta content mixer hosted by The Capture Queen 

Dope event great networking opportunities 

Great studio space – Le Marchea Studios

We attended my nieces 24 th birthday celebrations went to top golf 

Out to dinner at long horn hung out at Ponce City Market 

The following week we visited Orlando met my brother and cousin down there we were able to relax and capture image control promote our new social media tool box 

We visited the mall 

Went to Daytona beach 

Ate pool side and chilled 

The following week 

Hung out at a ladies night a great evening of intimate conversations with blackwomen 

Followed up with 

Searching the local malls looking for Kanye West collection at Gap just to find out no store in the state of Georgia has it. 

We were able to have our camera equipment repaired so we can get ready for new experiences and captures 

We captured a birthday celebration at 5 church right in the heart of downtown Atlanta. 

Can we talk about all the rain that fell during the month… locally we had lots and lots of rain fall during this time 

As we reflect on this month we are thankful for all that we were blessed to experience.

3 Things to Start Today

If you are looking for ways to shift your mindset and do something different in your life here are three things that you can start today

  1. Exercise – start today and do 30 minutes of exercise. You can start as simply as walking around your neighborhood. If 30 minutes is too much to take on start with 10 minutes a day and start to increase as you get more comfortable with the routine

  2. Sit Quietly and Meditation – (I actually do a 7 minute mediation daily preferable before I go to bed at night) I use this meditation music to assist Click here!

  3. Change up your daily routine

ex: if you drive a same route to work everyday switch up your route to a different one ; do something different afterwork ; pick out a different hang out spot; try something new to eat.

Quick Guide for Mindset Shifts

I recently begin reading the book the Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod. This was recommended by one of my favorite Podcast. In reading this book it inspired me to really begin to do self reflection and to see what it is that I really want. As I was reading the book I realize that there are some habits that I do I just don’t organize my morning in the way he advises in the book. By reading this book it has really inspired me to begin to implement habits that will allow me to live my best life every. We have the power to do so in the palm of our hands. If we would only realize how powerful we are. So if you are looking for inspiration and a quick guide to assist in shifting your mindset I would definitely recommend reading the book The Morning Miracle!

Saturday Night we were on location capturing a special birthday celebration at 5 Church Atlanta.

The place is a perfect spot in Atlanta for a root top celebration that is if the rain will hold out.

Despite the rain in all we were still able to capture moments of family and friends on the rooftop!

Building from Scratch

I remember back in 2009 when I first begin creating custom party supplies and selling them. This was the 1st time that I actually someone saw my crafty work at an event and ask me how much I charge to create them something for their celebration. Fast Forward 2022 we are working on building up informational package to share with our fellow entrepreneurs and business owners that will provide tools and resources to assist with the navigation out here on these online streets.

Recently I've met with people that have a message that they would like to share and looking for easy ways to create content to where they can share it on the different social media platforms.

Over the years we've been able to navigate our way on the different platforms and work to keep up with trends and the many changes that take place daily. What was new and improve yesterday no longer is the hot thing on the block.

We look forward to sharing our latest project and being able to assist those persons that can use the resource that we are creating.

I thought that would be a good post for today. Happiness is something that we choose when we think about it. As I begin looking at the picture and internalizing what it says, I thought about what are some things that make me happy. I had to take a moment and think about it. So now I will list out 5 things that make me happy.

Working Wednesday Check- In

Today was a typical day of regular things we do in our routine. Prayer, Exercise and Work, so nothing could be better than having a client meeting that turned into a powerful experience.

As we met with our clients and secured a contract of working with them they were able to pour into us as they could since something in our spirit. Before I left out of the meeting which was several hours later I was equipped to do some inside work on making myself a more happy individual. Although I for the most part keep a happy demeanor and spirit today I was ask to rate myself on the happiness scale from 0-5.

Zero being not happy and five being happy. I found myself at a 3 right smack in the middle. The next thing she ask was "what would it take to get you to a five" As I closed my eyes and wrestle in my mind with what that would look like , she begin to ask me question to help me visualize a perfect environment and to look at things in my mind of what I like. After performing that exercise my happiness meter immediately went to five.

It's funny how you begin your day off one way and have absolutely no idea how your day will end up.

I'm so grateful for everything that happen today and all the tools that my client equip me with. I went there to secure a contract. I left there with a signed agreement and my happiness meter on full.

Change of Environment

Today we decided to spend time with ourselves we venture out to a mall located on the other side of town. We browse through the stores and enjoy the energy of the environment. Watching people as they shopped ate and walk through the mall just like myself. After returning home and just sitting down to write this blog out I feel so at ease and refreshed. Somedays it just important to spend time with yourself change your environment and put your mind at ease!
