"Anything is possible when you are committed"

This quote I came across this evening and found it befitting for me currently working to complete a few digital products that have been in the works. The moment I felt like throwing in the towel and working to completion at another time. It was at that moment I gave myself a little self talk and encouragement. I reiterated to myself that I can do it and I have to keep going. As a result it gave me a second wind! I not only was able to complete what I was working on it allow more information to flow through me providing more to project! I'm happy that I stayed committed and kept going~

Today was the great start to the work week! We were working to finished up images from a previous event and getting those images sent over to a client. We also had an afternoon portrait headshot appointment. Our client showed up and we were able to get the session completed in good time. Today was a very productive day. Feel Good Friday!

It’s a Feel Good Friday!

This evening we took time out to work on getting our new PC set up properly so that we are able to work more efficiently. In the process we took our braids out of our hair. I feel pretty good for a productive Friday Night!

Smile!

Smile it’s your gift to the world!

Did you know a simple smile is a non verbal greeting that you give. There are times where you just smile at a person and nod your head. It’s like waving your hand and giving a greeting. Even when I’m wearing a mask from time to time I’m smiling underneath and the other person is able to read my eyes and know that I’m sending a friendly greeting.

It’s Our Photography Anniversary!

As we celebrate our 16 years of picking up our camera and deciding to take photographs we are reminding of the beginning.

When I began to go through the history of how this all began it really amazes me on how we come to be. I remember being a little girl and always wanting to do business stuff. Whether I was playing on a cash register or had a notebook(receipt book) or a purse /briefcase full of miscellaneous papers. I always remember wanting to be in business and do business by servicing my customers. when begin to think of how all those childhood dreams came to life it really amazes me on what you think can really happen. I’m blessed to be able to do this photography and more thing for these last past years. It really has shown me what I was capable of .

3 Things to Start Today

If you are looking for ways to shift your mindset and do something different in your life here are three things that you can start today

  1. Exercise – start today and do 30 minutes of exercise. You can start as simply as walking around your neighborhood. If 30 minutes is too much to take on start with 10 minutes a day and start to increase as you get more comfortable with the routine

  2. Sit Quietly and Meditation – (I actually do a 7 minute mediation daily preferable before I go to bed at night) I use this meditation music to assist Click here!

  3. Change up your daily routine

ex: if you drive a same route to work everyday switch up your route to a different one ; do something different afterwork ; pick out a different hang out spot; try something new to eat.

I thought that would be a good post for today. Happiness is something that we choose when we think about it. As I begin looking at the picture and internalizing what it says, I thought about what are some things that make me happy. I had to take a moment and think about it. Change of Environment

Today we decided to spend time with ourselves we venture out to a mall located on the other side of town. We browse through the stores and enjoy the energy of the environment. Watching people as they shopped ate and walk through the mall just like myself. After returning home and just sitting down to write this blog out I feel so at ease and refreshed. Somedays it just important to spend time with yourself change your environment and put your mind at ease!
