Planning a party is a lot of fun from the start. It allows you to be creative and its always fun when you can create an event to bring people together. We've combined of list of things to consider when planning your next party. This is in no particular order

We are definitely glad to be here! New Month New Goals New Posts! We are challenging ourselves for the next 100 days to do a blog everyday. So far so good we’ve been making steady strides. This month we decided to share information, pictures, party ideas and motivation on the blog this month. Dear March 2022

Thank you for allowing me the experience. This month started off with a bang from the beginning. Earlier this month we were blessed to make a visit to Florida visits with family we even got the opportunity to go to the beach.

After that we were able to capture a fabulous 5th birthday party with all the bells and whistles. We navigated the days throughout the month. We learned of a few people in our circle exit from the planet. We captured more events and attended networking events. We conquered Stone Mountain twice this month and we’ve been able to spend more time with family. As this month comes to a close. We are thankful for a full mon to of experiences and we look forward to all April will bring.

We thank for it all We had a Ball.

This is Life. Each day I am open to learn how to live it better and better.

Challenge

For the second week in a row I made the decision to walk Stone Mountain.

Stone Mountain is a mountain located in Stone Mountain Georgia is a park with many things to do such as walking trails nature preserves and many other family activities.

The walk Trail around the mountain is 5 miles.

The 5 miles is a extra push for me considering I do 30 min walks daily totaling a little less than 2 miles.

The challenge with the 5 mikes outside the distance is on the course of the trail you have the path where you going up on an incline which is the most challenging part for me.

So what I learned is the real challenge comes at the 3rd mile marker ( thanks to my Apple Watch that tracks the miles)

The third mike is where the heavy breathing comes in along with the hands on the hip and The constant blurting out of OMG Lord Help Me 😊

This time around I recognized the challenges and decided to shift my mindset on the focus of what is difficult to how this walk is strengthening my heart my calf’s and thighs, by me shifting my thoughts it made the walk today much easier and smoother giving me more of a reason to keep going.

So today I’m excited that I was able to challenge myself and to win!

Yay! To keeping it moving even at my own pace!

This message is to encourage anyone. Keep Going. Go at your own pace!

Rest Relaxation and Exploration

It's the weekend! For many of us, we use this time to Rest and Relax or Explore.

You may have had a long week and you were looking to stay inside sleep in if you are used to early rising maybe even take time and relax with a book.

Sometimes for me, the energy of a Saturday morning gives me really high vibrations and a creative spirit.

I had thoughts of going out to check out new places in the city or even sitting down in the park with my notebook to write down any ideas I may have. There are other times that I want to work on some art projects that need to be finished. Today we want to give a few ideas for relaxation and exploration for the weekend.

10 Things I can’t live without

1. My computer – that is my access to research the world

2. My phone- That is my way of reaching out and connecting with someone

3. Notebook – this is my way of getting my ideas and thoughts out

4. My morning cup of tea or hot chocolate (it’s a habit)

5. being able to rise up in the morning and pray. (I can’t make it through the day without a word with my sponsor)

6. My vehicle – Thankful to be able to jump in my ride and go wherever I need to go

7. My jogging pants- whew the level of comfort that they provide whew… it’s like no other

8. A few books that I enjoy reading over and over ( The Alchemist, Write it down Make it Happen)

9. My Camera- Oh I have to have it…. That is my way of creating!

10. My Purse- where else am I going to house all the junk I want to carry around.

Another Day Another Dollar

Where exactly did that analogy come from? I tend to have random thoughts and most time I write what I’m thinking down in some type of journal or I will write thoughts on the note app on my phone.

After learning what that means, the saying is pretty dreadful. So we will change it up a bit:

Another Day Making Dollars!!! (that maybe a bit better with a more positive meaning)

As a freelance photographer my days are filled up in a cycle of prospecting, editing, following up, preparing, marketing, and creating and publishing. So each day can be different depending on what’s on the schedule for the day.

Another day Another Dollar. In our world not all the time. The day maybe spent just thinking about the next time you will make that dollar by publishing information to the world that welcome them into your business to take a look around to see if you provide anything worth wild that they are willing to part from their dollars to give to you 🙂

So what you are doing today that will change your tomorrow can change that phrase

of Another day another dollar. We have the power within us to create the world around us.

It’s up to us to equip ourselves with what is needed.

Bridal Open House

This past Sunday we went out to a Bridal Shower Pop up Shop hosted by our Friends at J. Ladson Wedding! It was a wonderful afternoon of Fellowship Food and Fun! We watched as many of the brides in attendance tried on dresses as their friends and family gave a thumbs up or down for which dresses they admired. One Bride was able to finalize her decision and said YES to the Dress!

While the ladies snacked on delicious delights and sipped on flavored mimosas.

Show up and Be Committed!

There is a time when you challenge yourself to be committed to a goal you set. Many times everything starts out you are totally excited and you envision yourself getting to the finish line. Yay! Then all of a sudden busy schedules and other commitments getting in the way or the I don't feel like attitude shows up. Uh Oh your in trouble! Yep because now you ready to give in to excuses. However for me I'm looking to push through on the challenges and show up. It might not be perfect and I may make errors along the way but I'm committed. How do you push through and be committed to your goal?

How I Start A New Week

It's Sunday the start of a fresh new week. I'm a firm believer that is you plan out your week in advance you will ease the pressure of the many task that you need to complete. There is nothing like waiting until the evening to figure out what you are having for dinner or waiting until its time to get ready for school or work and figuring out what you wearing.

Here are THREE things you can do to prepare for this upcoming week:

📌Make a To Do list

📌Prioritize your list with what MUST get done

📌Delegate everything else

Start your with with a plan and finish with a win!

In addition plan out your meals and your outfits for the week it will save you a ton of time!

Never Give Up!

As I reflect on my life and we think about our families I was reminded of never giving up even when the days come when you feel like throwing in the towel, I immediately thought about my grandmother and how she move from Sparta Georgia being a widow and raising five children on her own after my grandfather was killed while working. She moved her family up north for a better life for her children. My grandmother who didn’t know how to read or write. My grandmother who signed her name with an X. My grandmother who didn’t give up and with limited resources she provided a life for her children. I’m reminded that the reason I am here today is because she didn’t give up. Despite all that we face. I’m reminded about those ancestors who came before me and was subjected to so much harsh and cruel conditions but they made it… and If they can make it through the conditions that challenge them I know for a fact that I can make it. So I’M reminding once again.

Words Thoughts & Affirmations

A few years back I was scrolling through the wish app and I came across of t shirt that really resonated where I was in my life at the time. See I had faced quite a few setbacks and challenges that caused my life to be flipped upside down. Despite all I had been through I was still going and showing up for life. I came across a T-shirt’s that read emotionally exhausted. Wow yes, that’s it this is exactly how I’m feeling and thinking so this shirt is perfect 👍🏾 until it wasn’t!

I realize after wearing the t-shirt a few times and really digging in to the statement that it read on it and how much I resonated so much with the message, I realize that I was continuing to invite that type energy into my life. I noticed in my everyday life the feelings stress and anxiety I was continuing to experience. Each day I was emotionally exhausted. As cute as I thought my shirt was I needed to breath new life and energy into my world. I desperately needed a shift from where I been and what I had went through, but how would I do that when I was celebrating my mental state with a t shirt that said I was emotionally exhausted. So when I recognized the type of energy I had invited in my life I immediately made that change to shift in the energy and immediately got rid of the shirt.

I've now replace my self talk with words thoughts and affirmation that will bring about a positive energy and productive thoughts. We can empower ourselves by using the right words that will lift our spirits and move us in the right direction to create the life we want!

So this is just a reminder Be careful of the words we use and word that may describe the world around us. As we want to bring about more peace and productivity in our lives.

Celebration of Life - Ayesha Lakes

Today we went and paid our respects to a fellow photographer friend. Ayesha Lakes.
We met at event in 2014 and we’ve been connected ever since. Recent years we were members of a few photography networking groups online. Frequently on our social media we engaged in regular comments and support. After attending her beautiful service today their was a pattern in each of the presenters today and they spoke of the genuine kindness that she shared. Based on my interaction with her over the years she’s always made me feel special and noticed. Although their is allot of noise and distraction on line it’s so nice for folks to acknowledge something you are doing.

RIP to my friend. You will indeed be missed!
